Our unique newspaper based literacy program provides our students with an unrivaled sense of academic achievement. We allow for the entire paper to be researched, written, and illustrated by the participating elementary school students. Schools are now able to professionally showcase their ability to educate, and students can enthusiastically showcase their ability to learn.

but we are among the lowest in school funding.

Be seen in our next issue as a "Heroic Community Hero" (yes, we know it's redundant and we say it twice too) for only $25. We aim to award every 6th grader at every participating school a $25 college savings account, every year, and need your help! 100% of your donation will go directly to a 6th grade student to open up their own college scholarship savings account. Every Hero donation that exceeds the amount of students moving on to 7th grade will go directly to the teachers at the end of every year as a cash "thank you" bonus or supplies. We are giving 100% of your $25 donation to the students and the teachers at the end of every year. This small donation will make a huge impact, every year, for all students, teachers, and schools involved. For your once a year donation you will get a masterpiece portrait of yourself created by one of our very own starving artists that we will publish in our following issue.
